Institutional flow ideas

Retail traders generally can't see the actual order flow that banks and institutional desks work with, but publicly available concepts — like tracking Commitment of Traders (COT) reports, central bank positioning, or macro flow themes (carry trades, risk-on/risk-off rotations) — offer an approximation of the larger forces retail price action often reflects.

These frameworks work on a slower, more macro timescale than most retail technical setups, and are typically used as background context (is the broader tide with me or against me?) rather than a timing tool for individual entries.
